Unbelievably I'm now out.

Missis has booked for us to go to York races on Friday for evening meeting and then Madness are playing after racing staying over in York. Saturday she will be wanting to shop.

Sunday we are at a wedding for one of her friends. Bonza.

Gutted. I'll be phoning for regular updates though!!

Sean Cummings (my mate who played at Crewe) is probably in for this (Robbo asked me to ask him).

If you are needing a keeper I might be able to play. I'd have to check when I'm on holiday but I should be able to make it.

Accomodation info below, although at the moment we barely have enough players to enter...

As promised, details and all instructions/deadline dates relating to
Worldnet 2010 accommodation can be found below.

PLEASE READ AND ACT ON THIS EMAIL NOW. ALSO SAVE IT, SO THAT WHEN YOU'RE
THINKING OF ASKING A QUESTION ABOUT ACCOMMODATION YOU CAN READ THIS EMAIL
AGAIN FIRST, BEFORE PESTERING ME OR CHRISTINE!!

I NEED A RESPONSE FROM ALL ENTRANTS PLEASE.

Here are the details of Worldnet accommodation arrangements for Bodington
Hall, 23 -25 July 2010. They are exactly the same as the previous two years.

1. The price for the two night package will remain the same at 59 quid per
person to include breakfast on both mornings but no meal on the Friday
evening. The University will not be providing any catering other than
breakfasts although a range of sandwiches will be available from behind the
Bodington bar and the food van will be on site all Friday evening and during
the day Saturday and Sunday. I will be endeavouring to arrange that there
will be two food vans on site (top pitches and bottom pitches) on both
Saturday and Sunday.

2. The damages bond will remain at 6 quid per head, making it a round 65
quid per person for the weekend. The damages bond will be reimbursed, again
on a per head basis, once all damages have been paid for.

WE TRUST THAT MANAGERS AND ACCOMMODATION CO-ORDINATORS WILL
IMPRESSS UPON ALL ATTENDEES ASSOCIATED WITH THEIR TEAM, THE NEED FOR A
DAMAGE FREE WEEKEND. ON ARRIVAL ALL RESIDENTS WILL RECEIVE A ROOM "HEALTH
CHECK" SHEET; ANY DAMAGES FOUND ON ARRIVAL MUST BE REPORTED IMMEDIATELY TO
THE IFA CONTROL DESK. FAILURE TO DO SO WILL RESULT IN YOU/YOUR TEAM BEING
FINANCIALLY LIABLE FOR THAT DAMAGE.

3. Invoicing arrangements are similar to previous years. I will be
invoiced in
late May for a 50% NON-REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT, with a further invoice for the
balance probably being issued in late June or early July i.e. a full two to
three weeks before the event takes place. As a result, I need a 50%
NON-REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT from you, to drop on my welcome mat no later than
Friday 21st May. Your balance payment should follow and arrive with me no
later than Friday 25th June. This will give me a week or so to get cheques
paid in and get all the
finances in order, before the balance invoice arrives on my desk.

NOW READ ON FOR WHAT I WANT YOU TO DO NOW.

At this stage I need you to let me know if you will be requiring Bodington
accommodation or not. I need a reply from every team that will be taking
part in the tournament. If you are stopping at some plush Leeds
establishment like the Marriot, Hilton, De Vere, Weetwood, Village etc,
please let me
know; I can then cross you off my list as "sorted". If, however, you will be
joining the masses at Bodington, I need your team to appoint an
accommodation co-ordinator.

When you have done this i.e DO IT NOW! send an email with the header:

ACCOMMODATION CO-ORDINATOR - TEAM NAME
to
r.goodair@... <mailto:r.goodair%40bradford.ac.uk>
and
c.thacker@... <mailto:c.thacker%40bradford.ac.uk>

We will then compile a list of co-ordinators, with whom we can discuss
requirements off-list. Co-ordinators will hear from us as soon as this list
is completed.

Accommodation at Bodington Hall will be on a bed and breakfast basis and
charges will be 59 quid for a two night stay, plus six pounds per head
damages bond. Co-ordinators will receive a spreadsheet to fill in and return
by email that will give details of your requirements for the weekend. A
NON-RETURNABLE deposit of 50% of the accommodation fee (i.e. 30 quid) per
person is required. Your deposit cheque (ONE CHEQUE PER TEAM) should drop on
my welcome mat no later than Friday 21st May.

Your balance cheque of 35 pounds per person (to include damages bond) should
follow and arrive no later than Friday 25th June. To overcome the problems
of previous years i.e. teams chopping and changing their arrangements right
up to the day of arrival, Leeds Uni have again imposed a FINAL AND
NON-NEGOTIABLE CUT OFF DATE for confirmation of accommodation requirements.

The cut off date is likely to be Friday July 9th; any request for
amendments to requirements after this date, are unlikely to be met with a
positive response!!

If your cheque has not arrived AND CLEARED by this date, you will not be
laying your head to rest at Bodington Hall.

All cheques should be made payable to:
R M Goodair and sent to:

R M Goodair
5 Beverley Ave
Wyke
BRADFORD
BD12 9AX

Those teams that have moved in to the 21st century and wish to make
electronic payments should contact me off list.

LADIES, GET YOUR ARSES INTO GEAR ON THIS NOW PLEASE!!

Thanking you in advance for your co-operation.

By the looks of things you'd be best off asking them to lend us a couple of players!

I'd just like to remind Dan I expressed an interest in attending this event. I think he's a bit worried about competition for the bench but you need not worry Dan, I wouldn't dream of treading on your toes.
