DESPITE being born and brought up near Hartlepool, 'Jazz' is a useful member of the squad. Tough in the tackle and comfortable going forward, the right-back fulfilled his dream when he signed for the Darloids.
In the side's early games, he was a regular on the touchline with his mother, watching his heroes but showing no particular wish to play.
But one friendly match, the team was short of players and called Black onto the substitutes bench. He came on, impressed and has never looked back since, becoming the side's first choice right back.
Although he has yet to score for Uncovered, it appears that he has plenty of lead in his pencil as his fiancee is currently expecting.
Expectations are similarly high from Uncovered's fans - who still include his mum. They will be hoping he can prove that he really is the daddy at WorldNET this summer.
