Scored three goals in just two friendly appearances for the Darloids, both in May 2001, before leaving the club before the club's first competitive game due to him supporting Arsenal.

 

Challis was initially brought in to make the numbers up before a 5-3 win over Darlington Supporters' Club, but scored twice and then grabbed another goal in a 4-3 defeat to The Falchion two weeks later.

Andy was a quick, young striker with great finishing ability and an unhealthy interest in Spanish hardcore music. He is currently trying to get back into the game, with Northern Echo Sunday Invitational League Division Three side Smith and Allen currently being linked with him.
